Canada–Qatar Business Forum Announces Appointment of Dr. Amir Ali Salemi as Honorary Board Member
The Canadian‑Qatari Business Forum (CQBF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Amir Ali Salemi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of JTA International Investment Holding, as an Honorary Board Member, effective 2 January 2026.
This appointment forms part of CQBF’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its governance structure through the inclusion of distinguished international business leaders who bring a global perspective and contribute to advancing economic engagement between Canada and the State of Qatar.
CQBF serves as a platform dedicated to fostering dialogue, collaboration, and investment opportunities between the two countries. By connecting senior executives, entrepreneurs, and institutional stakeholders, the Forum supports bilateral trade, cross-border partnerships, and the exchange of expertise across key sectors.
Dr. Amir Ali Salemi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of JTA International Investment Holding, is recognized as a distinguished business leader with a global perspective in the fields of investment and business development. He holds a PhD in Strategic Management and, with over two decades of international experience, has played a significant role in shaping and developing strategic partnerships at a global level.
Under his leadership, JTA has evolved into an international investment group with a presence in more than 50 countries and operations across diverse sectors, establishing a strong position in global markets. In this capacity, Dr. Salemi has played a central role in defining and executing the group’s global expansion strategy, as well as in forming high-value strategic partnerships across both emerging and developed markets.
His professional journey includes involvement in large-scale, multi-sector projects spanning energy, infrastructure, technology, tourism, healthcare, and innovation-driven industries. He has also been actively engaged in international advisory, entrepreneurial, and investment ecosystems, and is recognized for his contributions to fostering international collaboration and promoting sustainable investment initiatives.
